Indoor Farming Project in Finland
Horticulture in Finland faces challenges due to the country’s northern climate, short growing seasons, and fluctuating daylight hours. Traditional outdoor farming can be unpredictable, with weather extremes and seasonal limitations affecting both yield and quality. As a result, CEA is becoming an increasingly important solution, allowing growers to produce high-quality crops year-round under precisely managed conditions.
We recently completed three major projects in Finland, supplying and installing advanced growing systems that transformed portions of traditional cultivation operations into highly efficient CEA facilities. The new greenhouses span 1,800 m², 9,200 m², and 1,300 m², significantly enhancing the reliability and efficiency of our partners’ production.
Our goal was to overcome the limits of traditional horticulture. By bringing these operations indoors, we created controlled environments where every element, including light, temperature, humidity, irrigation, and nutrients, is carefully managed.
The results are clear: more productive and consistent operations that provide our Finnish partners with reliable, year-round harvests. These projects demonstrate how modern CEA technology can transform traditional horticulture in Finland, turning challenging climates into opportunities for efficient and dependable food production.
